Working with A Designers’ Life, we drew inspiration from the Khushi Pink rug and beautiful cherry blossoms, or sakura as they are known in Japan.

Our in-house design team fused these ideas together for a graceful custom round rug. Sized at 2400mm round, this design has a total of 9 colours – 5 wool and 4 art silk colours to be exact. A combination of Jaipur wool, New Zealand wool and art silk yarns were used to make this drawing come to life.

Following a scaled design map, a rug of this quality takes approximately 77 days for our artisans in India to hand knot. So unlike the fleeting life of real cherry blossoms, this luxurious rug’s beauty will be seen and treasured all year round.
