A strie or lined effect, is achieved by twisting two hanks of yarn together before tufting or knotting. The slight variations in the colours of the yarns create a fine, irregular streaked effect. A great option when a single colour rug is required but some texture and variation are desirable, a favourite with our designers as it provides a luxurious but simple product suitable for all areas.
