The Rug Establishment supplies Teebaud, a non-skid reversible rug underlay suitable for carpets and all flooring. It stops your rug from sliding and bunching up, which can be a real safety hazard. Teebaud is thin and not noticeable under rugs and won’t rot, crumble or shed fibres. It is completely odourless and won’t stain or discolour your floor and is also used in commercial settings like hotels and restaurants.

Made from a fluffy polyester fabric, Teebaud underlay helps prevent fibre damage and allows continuous airflow to prevent moisture and mildew buildup. It is also coated with a specially formulated water-based pressure sensitive dry adhesive on both sides. The lightweight material allows you to reposition your rug for cleaning and redecorating, however for long-lasting performance, we recommend you avoid frequent removal and reinstallation.

Installation to stop your rug from slipping...

Teebaud can be cut into any shape and size you require to be delivered with your rug. If your rug is oversized and requires more than one piece of Teebaud, simply place them side by side. There is no need to tape them together.

This rug underlay is easy to install, start off by preparing your floor by vacuuming, cleaning and drying it. Do not install Teebaud on a wet floor. Remove the plastic liner and place the rug pad down and place your rug on top. The white side faces down on carpet while the grey side faces down on hard floors.

The underlay will not leave a residue on carpet but on a smooth surface, will leave an inoffensive one which can be easily cleaned with water or common household cleaners.
